It takes skill and training to turn unshaped steel into a precision device that can withstand high heat and pressure and deliver on demand. Boilermakers repair, test and maintain existing boilers and related systems. Other duties may include structural and plate work, repair and maintenance, or installation, of boilers and/ or gas, oil, water, dust and other liquid-tight containers along with necessary structural work to support such systems. Nobody likes when the hot water is off. Everybody likes to see a qualified professional doing great work. That’s why boilermakers have long-lasting careers.
