Slip Simulator™ Training

Slips, Trips, and Falls are a leading cause of injury and death in many industries. The Slip Simulator™ has been shown to reduce STF accidents by up to 70%.

This very active, engaging training happens in person at our Anchorage office!

Students practice biomechanical walking techniques to avoid falls in various conditions and learn to catch themselves. In addition, students become aware of the dangers of STF hazards by experiencing them in a controlled environment where they cannot get hurt.

While promoting a company-wide culture of safety and preventing hazardous conditions is ideal and expected, this training focuses on engaging kinesthetic learning to encourage behavior change when an STF hazard is present.

Participants shall disclose to the instructor or opt out of getting on the simulator if any of the following apply:

  • The participant weighs over 350 pounds
  • Recent injuries or surgeries
  • Muscle sprains or strains
  • Pregnancy
  • Heart conditions
  • Mobility issues that prevent the ability to don or doff footwear and harness with instructor assistance

Please dress comfortably to accommodate bending, kneeling, and placing a shoe cover over your shoe to participate in the slip simulator. Please do NOT wear shoes with heels or spikes of any kind, or you will not be able to utilize the slip simulator.
